Aiva Arquette’s 24/11 helps Crusaders roll to 6-0 in exhibition hoops

Aiva Arquette scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Saint Louis routed Team X, 87-60, on Friday night at Clarence T.C. Ching Gymnasium.

It was a rematch of an earlier exhibition between the Crusaders and the club team, also won by the Crusaders. Jydon “Boogie” Hall also double-doubled with 22 points and 10 assists as Saint Louis improved to 6-0.


The 6-foot-4 Arquette shot 10-for-14 from the field and nabbed three steals. Malu Ing tallied 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting. The Crusaders shot 61 percent from the field, including 10-for-20 from the 3-point arc. Arquette was 4-for-8 from deep and Ing was 4-for-7.


Drake Watanabe and Elijah Kahue-Parker scored 23 points apiece for Team X. Kahue-Parker, of Mid-Pacific, shot 9-for-15 from the field and added three steals. Watanabe, who transferred back to Punahou from Roosevelt, was 9-for-24 with three boards and three steals.
