Half: Wildcats jumped to an 8-2 lead, but the Ladycats chipped away behind post Keitra Wallace, who has 10 points.


Konawaena missed its first four free-throw attempts, including a couple of 1-and-1s, to let Brea Olinda get even.

Halftime stats: Lia Galdeira six points, Dawnyelle Awa four points and four assists. Hoku Liftee and Makayla Awa with four points each. Konawaena has nine turnovers and shot 9-for-21 from the field, 2-for-6 from the foul line.

Brea Olinda has 11 turnovers and shot 9-for-25 (36 percent) from the field. The Ladycats are 1-for-9 from the 3-point arc, but have outrebounded Konawaena 11-9.

Oregon City 63, ‘Iolani 54 —


Third quarter: Pioneers open a 40-23 lead, but the Raiders rally. Klein Masutani ends up with a loose ball out of a scramble and drains a big 3, and Saphyre Rezentes’ steal and pass to Pua Kahalehoe leads to a layup as the Raiders cut the lead to 45-42 going into the fourth.

First half: A run sparked by a fullcourt press late in the first half propelled the Pioneers to 14-point lead. Kylie Maeda’s free throws with 3 seconds left in the half ended the run by Oregon City.

Bishop Gorman (Nev.) 57, Tsinghua 47 — In the fifth-place game, the Lady Gaels broke open a five-point game in the second half. April Rivers led with 18 points.

Luchenhong Yang, Xuetong Zhao and Rong Wang had 11 points each for the Dragons.


Mid-Pacific 35, Kaimuki 34 — In the seventh-place game, Kiki Robertson led MPI with 19 points. Ashley Savusa had 14 and Nikki Vongprachan had 10 for the Bulldogs, who played without two injured starters.
