Loo won’t be back to coach Roosevelt baseball

Baseball coach Les Loo will not be returning to coach Roosevelt next season, a source close to the Rough Riders said Friday.

The Rough Riders administration sent out a notice via email to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s sports bulletin board section Friday stating the school is seeking to hire a varsity baseball coach, but the notice made no mention of Loo’s departure.

Roosevelt athletic director John Chung declined comment Friday.
