Bonecrusher’s baseball ballot

Billy Hull, a.k.a. The Bonecrusher, is more than willing to share his ballot this week for the Star-Advertiser Baseball Top 10 poll. Here’s how Billy assessed the field.

1. Waiakea – best pitching in the state, including two UH commits, plus they got some Wong fella.

2. Mid-Pacific – Early ILH favorite, Marcus Doi will be in player of the year discussion

3. Baldwin – Kaupe looks to me like the best second baseman in the state

4. Punahou – Big dog never stays down long

5. Kailua – Always dangerous under Ishigo. They had quite a few juniors playing in the state tourney last year and added a transfer from Kaiser…

6. Pearl City – Gotta reward two wins over Aiea and Campbell

7. Saint Louis – Losing Akau is a big loss. Top catching prospect in the state

8. Campbell – Tough loss to the Chargers

9. Moanalua – Played the Surfriders close. Great head coach.

10. Leilehua – Big win over Waianae

Disagree? Billy is open to debate, but don’t expect him to change his mind, at least not until next week.
