State wrestling brackets released

Here are the brackets for the 2018 Texaco/HHSAA State Wrestling Championships released today.

The OIA has seven of the 14 No. 1 seeds on the boys side with the ILH receiving six and the MIL getting one.

The OIA also has seven No. 1 seeds on the girls side with the ILH only getting one (Zoe Omura of ‘Iolani at 97 pounds). The MIL has four No. 1 seeds and the BIIF two.

    It’s awesome how you guys put the most unflattering pictures to headline the articles. What a great way to grow the sport. Most may not get it, but reverse psychology does work on 10% of the population.
