VB: Kahuku moves into title match

Led by Hoo`nani Apo’s 15 kills, the Kahuku Lady Raiders defeated the Farrington Governors in the winner’s bracket match last night at McKinley High School 25-12, 23-25, 25-16, 25-23.

The second-seeded team from the East division is the lone unbeaten team in the double-elimination tournament and moves onto the championship match on Thursday.


Farrington drops into the loser bracket and will play Moanalua for the right to move into the championship match. The Govs and Na Menehune have already faced off once, with the Govs pulling out the victory.

Fenumiai Tofilau had a team high 14 kills for Farrington.
