Utah senior Adora Anae, who was named the Pac-12 offensive player of the week today, is the Utes’ all-time career kills record holder.

The 2014 Kahuku alumna, who was named to the AVCA All-America second team as a junior, recorded her 1,621st kill in the first set of Sunday’s four-set win over Washington State to pass Kim Turner‘s record total of 1,620. Anae now has 1,635 kills after finishing with 20 against the Cougars.

Utah started the week with a five-set win over No. 9 Washington on Friday. Anae had 25 kills and 11 digs against the Huskies.

She added 16 digs and three aces against the Cougars.

Anae has won three Pac-12 weekly honors in her career.

The Utes are now 14-3 overall and 5-1 in the Pac-12, trailing only league-leading Stanford (6-0). Utah jumped four spots to No. 13 in the latest AVCA Top 25.

Anae now ranks fourth in the Pac-12 averaging 4.37 kills per set. Teammate Bailey Choy, a 2016 ‘Iolani graduate, is eighth in the Pac-12 averaging 9.71 assists per set.
