VIDEO: Maryknoll’s 1st state title since 1984

After 35 years, the Maryknoll Spartans clutched the boys basketball state championship trophy. A 50-34 win over Punahou made it official at Stan Sheriff Center.

    Much respect, Coach Kelly!

    Although my son didn’t play for you but against you in previous years, my family has admired your coaching style for years. You’ve managed to get the best out of your players, playing them strategically. And, you knew how to work the refs. It was all about the game and the boys and never about your ego (as I’ve seen in our program).

    Congratulations! Well deserved!
