Texas Tech makes offer to Ulu-Perry

Signing day for football seniors has passed, but there’s no break for recruiters and athletes in the class of 2015.

Texas Tech made that clear on Tuesday with a scholarship offer to Saint Louis All-State left tackle Fred Ulu-Perry. Texas Tech fan site 247Sports.com posted the news.

The junior is one of the more intriguing athletes in the state, a 6-foot-2, 310-pound athlete with raw strength and nimble feet. He shows that unique agility on the basketball court for the Crusaders. On the football field, he was selected by coaches and media to the Star-Advertiser All-State first team.

He also has offers from Hawaii and Washington State.
