Defensive stats are normally kept by teams, though not all of them go that far.
For me, between keeping offensive play-by-play, individual stats, shooting video … very hard to keep defensive stats. Almost impossible. But you’re right: we all would LOVE to have those defensive stats.
Most teams don’t have enough manpower/statisticians to begin with. Not enough volunteers (ahem…).

This could mean the difference in scholarship funds for the kids that play on the other side of the ball. Hawaii Prep Sports is a great tool for recruiters from around the country to track the performance of Hawaiis athletes. Just a little suggestion that could make a huge difference.
