Total overkill reaction to my post. That was the only time I’ve ever commented on one of your stories. But thanks for assuming to know me and predicting my future behavior. My complement to Michael was sincere but I can see how my post could rub you the wrong way, considering how much work you put into the stories.

Kaimiloa, if you paid closer attention, you’d know that we’re writing about every local student-athlete who gets a FBS scholarship offer. And if we don’t know, we want to know. Loveni Jordan Iosefa, Thomas Reid III, Toleafoa Sean Auwae, Tua Tagovailoa, Nate Herbig, on and on. There will be more, and you will still complain that Michael Eletise shouldn’t be written about — all the while complimenting him.

Congratulations to the young man. I’m sure he is deserving and will do well in college. However, do we need a story on him every time he gets another offer? It would be nice to hear about other high school athletes who would be thrilled to see their names in paper.
