Isn’t this basically the lesser of evils? Punahou could’ve gone to a zone with three posts in the game instead of having Heaven match up against Konawaena’s four- and three-guard units. But there’s the threat of Konawaena’s shooters getting open looks from the arc. Tough choices.

But if Heaven isn’t going to be utilized as a post (with a mismatch) offensively, there is no advantage. Not executed. Whatever the case, Punahou is a very good team. Konawaena a bit better.

Heaven had to guard Kona’s guards out of necessity. She defends the perimeter better than Vae or Tyra.

She started the Kailua and Kona games. I was told they tried to go 3 big to exploit the size different. I guess it didn’t work in the 2nd half.

In reply to Pun Spectator. Heaven was in there for part of the game, didn't realize she's a post. She was out covering guards on defense. In the other three or so Punahou games I've seen, that's the most minutes she's gotten.
