Kalina Obrey should’ve been the tournaments Most Outstanding Player, hands down. Nothing against Taylor Wu, she is an amazing basketball player. But I feel that Kalina Obrey did SO much more for her team throughout the entire tournament.

History has shown that has never been the standard to have to give M.O.P. to a player on the winning team. Players on runner ups have gotten it before… I mean the girl set a scoring record facing triple teams. Her performance was an exception to your “to the winner goes the spoil” rule.

Kalina Obrey – best performance of all time in Hawaii. All around brilliance. To choose anyone over her is a joke. Something is wrong with that selection process. Taylor Wu is also a great competitor, but Kalina had a better tourney, and was more valuable AND more outstanding… she had way more impact on the game for her team. .lA tremendous example of character and competitive spirit – for all young athletes to see!

Agree. Points, accomplishments, leadership, sportsmanship = MVP. Kalina Obrey should have been the MVP. She broke a record! It was no surprise that Wu dropped 3- pointers, because she always does. Obrey had amazing numbers throughout the entire tournament. I wish the committee would THINK a little bit before quickly putting this All- Tourney team together.
