Thank you, Kulia pono! Awesome to see a Tribune-Herald story, especially KJ, online. Usually I get blocked since I don’t have a subscription. Good to see the Lady Viks improving. When they were at the Kaiser tourney, they faded in the second half and Alexis told me later that she definitely felt worn down after three games in a 24-hour period. Shaylyn was definitely a factor last year in every game I saw. She wasn’t a factor when they lost to Roosevelt last week. Glad to read that she’s back to her old self. Winning this game without Alexis — IMPRESSIVE.

“In the first half, they were killing us on the boards with second-chance shots. In the second half, we decided if they’re going to beat us, let them take the 3-pointer.” – See more at: http://hawaiitribune-herald.com/sports/local-sports/girls-basketball-sweet-revenge-vikings#sthash.R7QtVdcT.dpuf
