If anything it should have been her sister. No league in any state or any level would pick a POY who missed so much time. Also Kandiah of Punahou is a JR, not SR as listed in the paper.

I believe POY should be the best player who has been there for their team consistently on the court. Missing a bunch of games should eliminate that person from consideration.
