No way would Lahaina have lost half their crowd if the game was played in Central Maui. The Luna fans travel better than anyone besides maybe Kahuku football. This is evidenced by the Lunas’ state football game against Kaiser, which was in Wailuku. You saw the crowd for that one. One could argue the Lahaina community loves their Lady Lunas even more, which is saying a lot.

Also, in the football state tournament, teams are able to host games at home venues? Why is it different for all other tournaments? The issue of whether the Civic is a home venue for Lahaina can be debated. I see both sides of the argument. I think its a fair site, with 2 games hardly constituting a true home court.
