I don’t know. Couple crossing routes were almost lights out collisions. Against a team like Kahuku’s DB hitters, ouch.

In basketball its called “LIVE AND DIE BY THE THREE”, no genius to it, just a risky approach.

I hope this system doesnt stunt the development of the O-linemen and running backs that will not know how to run block if they are thinking about playing in college.

Other then Devon Bess, I do not recall any of the UH players from the JJ era making it in the NFL mainly because of the stigma of this gimmicky system. Im not hating, just coming at it from a different perspective since Kapolei is always known for having D1 talent, what is Hernandez doing to develop all his D1 talent and not just one player, I do recall him saying that its not all about winning and losing but about how many kids he helps to get to college.

You mean to tell me that when/if they play Kahuku, that Big Red’s D will not have to respect the run at all? Just tee off and go after the QB every down?
