At one point leilehua was the top dawgs. Bryant moniz making it to the state championship if I’m not mistaken and also Andrew manly’s year when they won the state title! That was a game! I think manly might have made it twice? And lost his senior year, but I remember the central boys and the mule pride was through the roof! It’s sad that lose a lot of their boys to Mililani. Wahiawa is filled with talented scrappy boys. And the rivalry was a good one, but we all know why Mililani is on top now. Because all these recruits have come in. The recruit they do over there is crazy. A public school recruiting! Crazy!

Leilehua has won 21 times and Mililani has won 20 times. And they tied once.

And fun fact, Leilehua and Mililani are the only OIA teams to win the State championship or make multiple state championship appearances other than Kahuku. Bring this rivalry back! Go Mules!!!!!!

The red dirt rivalry. The battle for central Oahu. Whatever you want to call it. From the mid 2000’s and early 2010’s this rivalry was amazing and no matter the record these teams duked it out and had close games that were practically settled in the 4th quarter or overtime.

Growing up in that era Watching our boys go and battle every year and to come up short year after year, it left a distain taste in my mouth. I hated Saint Louis. I’m sure the boys growing up watching those games when they were young they really wanted to go out and beat them. Hands down best rivalry! #RR4L

From the prep bowl days! When Saint Louis ran high school football for 13 straight championships. And towards of end of the 90’s the epic games between them two was crazy. 1996 that game KAHUKU should have won! But eventually Kahuku was able to dethrone them and holds the most titles in the state championship era so far, but when it comes to rivalries this has to be the best one. Saint Louis had coaches and some of their top players come from the north shore. (George Ornalles, Gerald Welch)
