@ Realist , I totally agree with you. That is what is great about living in America. We have option and can change our decisions. Since the kid is talented he has leverage. Very smart to leave other options open.

Other option might become avaiable later on that might be a better fit or more attractive. Typically, people who have an issue with leaving their options open are usually people who are not that talented and never had options in the first place.

@oxtail01 in college recruiting, there is a thing called “committing and yet leaving options open”. Colleges know very well until a recruit signs the letter of intent they still have a chance a persuading a kid from his original commitment. Your comment also shows how little you know USC.

Someone needs to teach this “kid” what the definition of “commitment” is. There is no such thing as committing and yet leaving options open.

Watched this young man during recent UH Elite camp and came away very impressed! At 6’2 and 215 or so he has lots of room to fill out, has long arms a prerequisite to keeping blockers off of his body, uses his hands to ward off OTs on edge pass rushes, knows how to time and knock hands down or dip and crash his shoulder to turn the corner. Biggest plus for this young man is his “Competetive Fire” wants to win every rep! At running back he showed ability to accelerate and finish a run in the end zone. Reminds me of a bigger, more explosive Pisa Tinoisamoa type athlete.
