—Also last I checked Kahuku gets Mormon kids from Utah and all over… the cousins of cousins to come crash over and crash over and play for Kahuku. So take a chill pill!

And I meant that in a good way. Spot on!!!

Eh, recruit this, transfer that. Ultimately, the “R” & ‘T” words are both the same thing.

As a good and wise friend would always say “CARRY ON! “

He does his job as a coach vouching for his kids and Getting to play Kahuku is good for Kahuku too. So what’s the gripe?! Wanting to play the OIA is good for all the kids and not just the ILH. Whereas Kahuku fans cry about refs and recruiting and all kinds of stuff. Cal Lee is the biggest crybaby/Politician….remember the 2015 title game he lost? He didnt even stay for the ceremony and accept the 2nd place trophy.
– The very next week on camera he mentions the idea of playing Kahuku during the regular season to “get used to their style”.
– The next year 2016 ILH try to give the OIA $3mill to join leagues, which didnt work.
– This year 2018 the alliance is a reality

Now just last week Cal is still crying about the OIA not counting the vs. ILH games?!!!

A crybaby without money is the annoying Kahuku fans
A crybaby with money is the supposedly “Hawaii H.S. winning-est Football Coach”!

I ain’t complaining/crying about no refs, no recruiting or transferring. Just defending the truth!

Every kid and his or her family makes the best of what they have and receive. If its at a public school then so be it. All I know is if you surround your child with right friends and classmates in the right environment (school) they more likely to be successful. If they go to public school then you rolling the dice and have to work harder to stay on your child and monitor. I know all of this from personal experience with my schooling and my own kids. I went to public school. I’ve been in trouble. And when I left for private school I didn’t have the cruisers/bums in my classes. We were all focused on staying out of trouble, doing our work and playing ball. That’s the difference!

1. some teachers care and most don’t
2. kahuku fans/alumni cry about everything!!!
refs this, refs that, they hate us, our coach sucks, its our principals fault, the teacher flunked my kid… wah! wah! wah! teach your kids how to deal with adversity and work harder instead of cry and make excuses!! and how about making sure your kid does his homework!
thats the crap I had to deal with working in that community! act like a bunch of entitled rats!

Crybabies? Don’t take yourself outta that equation cause you fighting right back. Who cares where you go to schoo? It’s up to the child to to make the best of his or her life no matter what anyone says. Many public school graduates have gone on to be very successful, just like the private school graduates. As far as sports… It’s just an avenue for some kids to get through to the next level. Some can afford it, some cannot but who are you or anyone else to judge?

Recruit? Transfer? Who the hell cares?!?! That is up to the child and their family(s)

The use of fake names or aliases to comment? Come on people! Why hide behind a screen name?

St Louis doesn’t even have money to recruit. They’re making cuts to athletics so that’s out the window. And a lot of their best players already stated that they weren’t recruited. So get over it!
And parents send their kids to private schools for education! That means their kids are in school with other kids who are there to learn and go to college after graduation. Not like going to a public school/Kahuku/Campbell where half the teachers don’t give a damn and 60-70% of the kids have no idea what they’re doing after graduation or even going to college.

Was he going to pay our tuition? NO! Was he going to get us enrolled? NO! but the networking and coaxing of the alumni of these ILH schools is what drives the recruiting. STL football alumni are 10x worse, ya know, the BROTHERHOOD!

The ILH have the clear advantage and therefore both leagues should not be playing each other until the playoffs for that reason.

The fact that Cal Lee and the STL alumni want to play OIA teams as if the playing field is even is what irritates the HELL out of OIA folks. STAY IN YO OWN LANE!!! Go play BG and IMG with your highly recruited roster!

Kahukus 1st D was above and beyond the ones making life hard for Waianae. Nevertheless great game both squads.

Regardless of Kahuku staff going vanilla on offense the fact remain that tonight and just like last year playoffs when Waianae almost won, The Kahuku O.C. need to light up the scoreboard with Offensive TD’s in the first half and put the game away early, enough of this slow start and letting teams hang around. Millilani/Stl/Pun/Kam with their efficient passing offenses are usually up 28-0 at half against Waianae.

It is also a known fact that the user “anywayyyys!!” is a Punahou grad and last years “Education First”. Punahou has no chance of winning the ILH this year so he is making trouble, I think he is “gopunahou” on the sportshawaii.com HS forum.
