If you read the story a little closer, you will notice that almost everything written about Waianae is positive.

The one negative thing you found was a bad call by the referee, and both coaches said directly to me “Bad call.” Daniel Matsumoto said it. Nelson Maeda said it. In more than 30 years of watching high school football, it, without a doubt, was THE SINGLE WORST call I’ve ever seen. The ball was clearly a forward pass, and it is clear on the video.

So, if I didn’t write about that call, I think I would be doing a disservice to everyone, including you. It’s a fact, and that’s how I saw it. Castle was leading 7-0 at the time, so I think most people would agree that the bad call was a really huge swing in momentum. I’m sure you understand that too because you sound like a longtime football fan.

Referee’s always make bad calls, but in this case your going to take the Loser’s excuses and try to downgrade a victory that you, as well as Castle knows should have been a massacre! When are you fools ever going to give Waianae it’s due “respect”??? You must be one of the many that got trampled on by Waianae during your prep years!
