History was made, both schools of the North Shore, Waialua and Kahuku, playing together in the stadium. Competing for their division champion title. Chills and goosebumps throughout the whole game. It was a nail biting, end of your seat sitting, butt clenching, game. Looking at the crowd lastnight was definitely amazing. A small community coming together, to cheer on the Bulldogs. Waialua held it down, strong defense getting through Waipahu’s O-line, getting to the quarterback numerous amount of time. Can’t forget the offensive line holding back Waipahu big defense, opening up ways for the running backs to get through, not to mention the quarterback, Toia, allowing him to score that touchdown. All around good stuff out there lastnight, hard work pays off. Way to end that 61 year streak, looking forward to this next game, states is definitely up for grabs. Good game out there boys, and congratulations on the win boys, to both Kahuku and Waialua.
