Not trying to take away anything from talented defenses like kaiser, leilehua and Hilo but if kahuku lined up in the power game from the start, stats would be different and kahuku would have beat kaiser and the mililani game would have been different as well. Fortunately for the rest of the state, with the combination of those things, the injuries and an o-line that has not played a complete game (and the best penalty earning stats in the state). I can only hope that we (kahuku) continue to move towards a balanced attack but never forget who we are and use the talents we have rather than fit them into a system that doesn’t match the pieces. Until then, it will always be nail biting and frustration. But above all, go BIG RED!
