@ HLI, ten q much!! lol. Coach Reggie is coaching the Oline, but from what I heard, since the summer, the kids are undisciplined and lazy. The kids on the oline need to get their act together. If the kids get their minds straight and listen to Coach Reggie, the O will get back into shape. we’ve had and have some pretty good talent on the Oline the last several years, but I don’t think anyone of those kids and the current team would’ve cracked the starting lineup of teams from the past. Why? Because those Olines of the past had players who got after it. Nobody in the last 3 – 4years have come close to matching the intensity of a Doug Vaioletti, Tala Esera, Chris Naole, the Kemoeatus, George Perry, etc.

I bet that if Wendell Look was coaching the RR’s they would never lose.
Why?? Technique, skill, scheme, and discipline. Coaching.
Combined with the athleticism, size, aggressiveness and passion for football, it would be scary.

The days of beating teams purely because of these attributes are no more. Unfortunately, you push against it and the community rebels and the administration get too involved.

Its tough to say this and I think constant change has contributed to this problem but lets just bite the bullet and put Reggie back in charge. He will right the ship.

Uhhhh, many top programs across the nation have a strong running game. But it shouldn’t be all about straight forward blocking. It’s about the Oline executing and holding their blocks. Even if Big Red went to a mostly RPO type of offense, the Oline still needs to execute. But you right about the coaching…

here we go again. Outsiders still think Kahuku can just line up and smash the ball lol. Thats why they losing, Because they try to establish the run early in the the game, but gets stuffed. Then they try to pass when they cant run the ball and puts themselves in a bigger hole because they dont know how lol. Smash mouth football days are over Red Raiders. Hawaii High School Football has caught up and knows how to stop the run, well the better well coached teams does. Sorry , but the Kahuku days are over, yah they might have a season here a season there, but its over. Anybody off the streets can coach at kahuku and get same results lol they got the talent. Now if you had a york there or somebody with football IQ. Kahuku would be contenders again. just saying.

Need to back to basics and establish a dominant run game. NEED Alpha Males on the Oline with a mean streak to get after it!

We do have the talent for a pretty decent passing game. Right now, we don’t need a full on air assualt, but we do need a decent passing game to keep Defenses off balance; but we need to get our running game going!

Special teams needs to be fixed and it needs to be fixed NOW!

IMHO, Coach needs to swallow his ego and adjust his offensive philosophy to get the O going and then add as the kids grow.

go back to the run… got to get the lineman to get it together and blow a hole or move the pile. Never mind the pass game, we dont have the personnel. The 2 QB’s are young yet. need maybe this year and next before they will be shredding defenses. We need to work on what we have now. This aint time to learn to throw or catch, that’s for the off-season. You keep passing going 3 and out what happens when we hit St. Louis, 99-0.

Kahuku needs to just go with the Adolpho boy at QB. And let #1 focus his energy on defense. Boy must be hanging after running for his life on offense. Only to be called upon to lock up an opposing receiver on defense. Can’t be having a QB battle right now. Pick a QB and stick with him!
