That power running game is no joke.

They played well, but as mentioned, a lack of a passing game down the stretch played a role.

RR’s gameplan was almost executed to perfection. They ate the clock, limited touches to Puns-O, won field position on special teams but couldnt capitalize. That last possession was hard to watch knowing that RR needed a TD but ran the ball, 70 yards+ away from the end zone, with 4 ish minutes left.
You can only throw so much comeback routes to #7 or screens which seem to be the depth of the passing game. #letrobbyTomaloose#passfodayz

The whole our qb is young excuse is played out. The Puns qb is one year younger and killing it. I love our qb, but unfortunately, he’s put in a tough situation. I honestly believe that he will be a Great One over the next 2 years; he just needs more reps…the whole team needs more reps in getting the passing down. I was one to bash on Sterling, but he’s not going anywhere, so at this point, lets just focus on being positive for the kids. I understand his play call at the end, but unfortunately, the play design was bad and the blocking didn’t hold up. I think the team showed alot, considering they weren’t given much of a chance by many. 2 big plays, questionable calls, not executing, and yes, some scratch your head play calling….a loss is a loss, but this was a very winnable game. I can’t wait until playoffs.

Kahuku needs to establish their skills positions at an early age. You look at these kids coming around playing 5v5 flag or 7v7 they been working skills positions since they were 6 years old. You got the all black crusaders program, even Coach rod with Mill Vill. Kahuku needs a program to establish that. They are so behind when it comes to skills positions and that’ll be there downfall. Their defense is awesome, run game is good, but they cannot consistently pass the ball. Please someone in the community set something up. I think JPS has a flag football program, you got playsports Hawaii. When it comes to coaching tho. Coach sterling I’m sorry, but you gots to go.

Kahuku’s was moving on Punahou last night with a solid ground game plan there QB is young but get him going with precision passing they’ll be good to go!!! Hope there O-line is young too some impressive moving the ball on the line of scrimmage with the now a day’s mostly all passing happy teams good work Coach’s!!!:)
