While your at it let’s also place limits on what classes they take and how much they can learn in one day. Let’s also tell them what to wear and eat and make the important choices for them. Let’s control everything they do and steer them towards a career that we see fit rather than a career of their choice.

Too much recruiting by St. Louis and other Head Coaches that only think about winning. DOE does not help themselves by creating terrible academic and athletic environments for the public schools. Public school parents want to send their kids to private schools, its been happening for years and as far as football is concerned Cal Lee and St. Louis are the poster child for recruiting the best talent.

Yea it kinda screws a legitimate family move. or transfer same company… because if the boy/girl is into sports they will suffer…seems unfair to punish the student cuz parents move…not seem right…

Also from Oahu DOE schools. Now the kids have to sit out a year no matter if they transfer to a public or private school. If they blossom, or come out from under the radar their Freshman years in a DOE School, might as well just go to a private school if there’s a scholie available.

DOE kinda shot themselves in the foot on that one.

As a graduate from a catholic high school…it is heart warming to see these 2 going to St. Louis..

Just wonder how this will all play out in a few more years…as the high profile schools…on oahu..start to get more n more athletes from neighbor islands…???
