BTW, Sol Jay Maiava, former Kahuku QB, was named to the second team in the MaxPreps HS Football Preseason Jr. All-American Team. He is now at St. John’s Washington, DC). One of the first team QB’s is DJ Uiagaleilei, of St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA). Mililani will get first hand look at him when they meet on August 31, in CA. St. John Bosco is the preseason No. 1 rated team by MaxPreps. St. Louis’ Jordan Bothelo is on the second team of the MaxPreps HS Jr. All-American team, too. Congratulations to Sol Jay and Jordan. There is a “fat chance” that Warrior football head coach Nick Rolovich and his staff can persuade Faatui Tuitele and Maninoa Tufono to say home and play for their State University. Although it would be awesome if they stayed home to build a University of Hawaii Warrior football team champion for Hawaii…”Fat chance.”
