I just read Kalani Takase’s story and there is no mention of actual injuries. It mentions Ah-Hoy’s ankle was banged up (that could be anything and coaches say “banged up” all the time for minor bumps and bruises). It also mentions that Ameperosa sat out last week, but it does not say why. Nothing about injuries in which they received medical attention. Timoteo was told to sit out by a doctor, and was first-team All-State last year and a UH commit, all which makes his doctor’s visit pretty newsworthy. Dillon Gabriel is the son of Garrett Gabriel and he is newsworthy for that reason alone, especially since he is only a freshman and is being brought up to the varsity.
