Eric Dickerson is, well, Eric Dickerson. Records are made to be broken.
If the record is broken, it does not diminish Dickerson’s contribution to the game, or tarnish his Hall of Fame credentials. Besides, the Vikings have better things to worry about than Adrian Peterson rushing for an NFL record for yards. They need for there offensive line to block for Chris Ponder, or whoever will start at quarterback, and their defense has to step up. Focusing on the playoffs is a much bigger concern for this team, who hasn’t seen the post season in awhile.
