The Kailua football program nearly died out under previous head coach Gary Rossolowich.

He sounds very confident that they will do well this coming season but easier said then done in the tough D1 Red Division. Yes, it was a surprise losing to Castle last season which impacted the playoff seedings and host sites. Guess, never under estimate a Rivalry Game. It’s also amazing how Kailua being a school with a small enrollment, are able to field competitive teams and always have big OL, season after season. They had a nice run 2 seasons ago surprising everyone. Good Luck to the Surfriders!
