The ilh wouldn’t win another state title ever again.

Stick to the article, it gets a lot more pleasant.

They both would become state heroes forever, attract top wide receiver recruits and still make it to the NFL under Jones’ tutelage. Tua will become, if given the chance, just another cog in the Alabama machine and history. But he would be the most sought after Hawaii recruit ever to stay at home. If Carson Wentz from South Dakota State can be the 2nd pick in the draft, then the Tagovailoas have an equal shot from here in Hawaii, especially after Mariota has paved the way!

ILH and OIA alike.

Saban is a proven stable winner.
I think Tua should pick a west coast team, any of them can get him to the NFL or win a national championship, you dont need to go to alabama.

Nick Saban does not care about QB’s; he cares about Defense & Ball Control…..
Kiffin will prepare Tua for the NFL plain and simple!!!!!

Kahuku did it last year against St. Louis by winning 39-14. This year St. Louis just executed better and Tua showed off why he is one of the top QB’s in the nation. It was 13-14 Kahuku going into the 4th if I remember correctly. In my opinion the game was a lot closer then the final score indicates and I think Kahuku just lost focus at the end. Good job St. Louis on this years State Championship. RRFL

Take into.consideration when you give the opinion “the game was a lot closer than the final score indicates”.
St Louis had a muffed punt that led to a Kahuku TD, a dropped TD that led to a FG, a missed FG & numerous missed wide open receivers that would’ve led to points. Not to mention a missed call on a dropped INT in the red zone. Add up all the variables, this game was close because St Louis made it close. Besides the failed leap attempt at the goal line, Kahuku couldn’t respond on offense or defense. They played like they were moving in concrete.

The ilh is good for these kids, especially the ones who come from the hood or country. They can actually take their football talent, get a good private school education and further themselves in college etc. . . and maybe take their family out of any bad situation their in (if any, I’m not saying you can’t in public school, but you know what I mean).

@ilh. . . You have the right to YOUR opinion, but ilh football will not be what it is without these oia families who send their one child to a private school for the same reason I just explained to @DaDogCatcher.
Also, St louis or even the ilh will not be what it is if Cal Lee didn’t return to STL after the first time they fired him. . .

And regarding this article, Tuaman is talented enough to go anywhere and be successful. If playing qb in the nfl is your 1st career choice, then go to a college that can help you with that….
