Coaches are not considered full time employee and are not awarded a tuition stipend not any kind if discount on tuition.

Now if a family applies for financial aid, the 3rd party firm that Punahou uses can award financial assistance based on many variables.

Now I am not saying Punahou does not have boosters or alumni that can help with tuition if they want to gift it.

But, like I said, no coaches get any kind of discount or free tuition. You can visit punahou.edu and click on the “employment” tab on the bottom of the page under administration.

Please don’t slander our school with inaccurate information. I work at the school and I know for a fact that no coaches or part time workers get this “discount” you are talking about.
