It’s exciting and infuses energy for the fans and especially the media world. So when you have a Kahuku team running a vanilla offense it’s easy to see why everyone still have doubts about them. Many people tend to forget that execution in all 3 phases will increase your chances of winning a game. Kahuku does all them exceptionally well of all the 6 teams left in the states. So let’s just sit back and enjoy the ‘underdog’ roll because when it’s all said and done the Red Raiders will be the last team standing!

On every down of a spread offense there are WR’s open but its the QB job to find the man and deliver a perfect strike, then its the WR job to catch it.

Well the announcers like to speculate and say….if only the QB saw that WR open….or…the ball hit him right in the hands if he caught it it wouldve gone for a TD.

Well no one talks about the running game and how….if only that Guard held his block for a split second longer….or…if only the RB hit the B gap instead of the A gap he wouldve been gone for a TD.

All BIas’s are against Kahuku because of their less then exciting ground and pound game.

The interception Kahuku made both DB’s were stride for stride with Mililanis WR until the ball was thrown short. Then the DB’s stopped running to anticipate the short ball while the Mililani WR kept running, Hernandez then said “WOW that Miliani WR was wide open…if Milton threw that ball it would have been a touchdown”!

really!!!

If Milton threw an accurate ball that the Mil reciever could catch he would have been tackled and not a touchdown.

I also notice that the comments tend to be more positive when the posters put their first and last names. Just something I noticed.

The Mililani v. Kahuku game was heavily flagged, hoping to keep control of the game? There were quite a few penalties, some warranted, some from kids being kids (stupid), but it was a good game. What more could we have asked for, Best offense verses the Best Defense. I stayed up to watch it. I look forward to watching next week also Kahuku v. Hilo/Waianae.

One thing my wife noticed, how much the announcers talked up Mililani’s Defense on how it was doing a better job (the score was 7-0 Kahuku). How was Millilani doing better? Their average scoring would have had 14 on the board by the end of the first. If anything, Kahukus D was doing what it has been doing, and Mililani’s O (when the back up was in) was not scoring. She asked, “do they not like Kahuku?” “I dont know but they sure like talking up the other team.”

Next game, the sound will be off. Hope no one gets injured, and clean play.

Great within you, I sense the struggle is, Young Padawan. Hurt yourself, do not.

BigRed shouldn’t you be staying away from the field? Rumor had it that you were within 50 yards of the field with a gopro taking video. SHAME ON YOU! I am just wondering. Did you register yet like you were supposed to?
