“Coach” Cal does the same thing every year. he recruits all the best players, beats up on the schools he took them from, and when big time mainland competition knocks on the door, he hides. notice how he never went to the the mainland not even ONCE for the past twenty years

aka notes, when Kahuku won a few state championship over Cal Lee before, even twice in the row, They won even 4 seasons ago too. Why all this hate. But why Kahuku keep changing coaches alot recently, players want to go other schools here and move to the mainland, and the stands at Aloha Stadium does not have much crowds from Kahuku the past games? Ask yourself that. Cal Lee is just coaching player from all over the islands where parents want their sons to play for. People don’t worship him, just want to be part of a program that was established well since 1982. Even when other coaches (Tengan, Hao, Arceneaux) took over the program, players from all over the island still want to come and play for St. Louis which won state championships and made it to the finals a few times without Cal Lee. The sad part is that as long as Kahuku does not have a championship season or make it to the finals, there will always be excuses.

education first aka mr punahou aka fake “notes” aka KalihiFB, cal lee is an overrated coach. you have a team of stud all stars from kahuku and the rest of the state. you should win every championship and it shouldn’t even be close. after all the kahuku players he stole, his record is pretty bad. he’s overrated and it’s sad that people worship him when all he did was buy championships

Is St. Louis breaking any league rules? Apparently not. Their standards are very high. A few other teams are close. The rest has to catch up. Get a grip and tell your school to just do it.

So all the haters now are saying they want Cal Lee out and blame the Catholic Church for causing all the issues in high school football. When Mililani, Leilehua, Kahuku been winning championships against St. Louis and the ILH teams since the state tournament started, St. Louis and ILH had not much bashing. Coach Luvai found the formula when Kahuku has dominant. When Cal Lee lost to Kahuku in 2015, people was trashing and posting Cal Lee will out of retirement again soon. Punahou beat his team the year before in the ILH. Also, people forget at Mililani beat St. Louis during preseason with Tua vs. Milton. If Milton was not hurt at the end of that season, Mililani could of beaten St, Louis again in 2015. Cal Lee can be beat and it was done times before. Enough finding excuse and enjoy the holidays!

I remember when USA Today first stared ranking high school football teams in the 1980s. I like seeing the St Louis Football Academy in the top 25. But I soon realized how their excessive recruiting Odestroyed the competitive balance of Hawaii state high school football. I went to every Prep Bowl from 1987 to 1997. It was like going to a funeral procession. Everyone knew St Louis was going to blow out whoever they played. I grew up in the 1970s. Only had 1 division back then. Every game was competitive. Every game was exciting. It was in the early 1980s that the St Louis administration decided to go all-out to build a dominant football program, not just a competitive one. The Catholic Church is out of control. Win at all costs high school football programs, pedophile priests running amok in the church, I thought we got rid of Cal Lee in 2001. Now he is back. Cal Lee is not good for Hawaii high school football.
