although my son played JV for St. Louis this year, he had the pleasure of running routes for Jayden while training with his qb coach on the off season. Surprisingly, that qb coach that was working with Jayden, was not Vinny. Good luck to Jayden as he moves on next year, and good luck to Our boys on chasing that 4peat!!!

I sure hope Jayden is making the right decision … just a couple of weeks ago Mike Leach threw his players under the bus by calling them “SOFT & ENTITLED” … sorry Mike Leach but isn’t that YOUR JOB to
make sure that does not happen … but no … YOU DISH YOU PLAYERS … WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO PLAY FOR A COACH LIKE THAT… I just returned from the Mainland & had a chance to talk to a High School Coach who was in a clinic w/ Leach … he said … “HE IS A STRANGE DUDE” …“““`

Not all HS athletes are refined enough to earn a scholarship without some form of good coaching. Some athletes are…most are not. That’s where the comment about going to a program with good coaching comes in. Not many of our HS athletes get LEGIT offers before HS so why not better your chances by going to a school that has a past and current proven track record… It doesn’t have to be Saint Louis for you to get an offer….BUT you can admit that it definitely helps..

Where’s he at now? That’s what I thought! Still waiting for you to provide me ONE QB in the entire nation at ANY level with as many attempts and a 75% completion rate. The only bonehead here is you giving advice to a QB to go to Navy lol, what an arseclown!!! That’s like sending your kid to Lonzo Ball to learn free throw shooting, still like some of what you’re smoking though.

No disrespect to Damien or public schools. Didn’t mean to hit anyone’s nerve. All I’m saying is as a talented prospect it doesn’t hurt your stock to play for a system that has proven to put out D1 QBs for decades. Yes you can play for other schools and go to mainland camps to get exposed but I’m sure there was a reason why it took this long for him to get the PAC-12 offer he was waiting for. Playing under Vinny Passas and starting for a perennial nationally ranked powerhouse can only help your cause. The only other school that produced D1 QB starters of recent is Mililani. As far as Maiava, yes he is an athletic kid who got offered by Michigan as an 8th grader…but why did he leave to a national powerhouse?…exactly. I find it strange that he committed to BYU because he could of done that at Kahuku. I’m sure he developed mentally and learned a lot by playing premium competition. I’m sure all the haters and whiners out there cheer on Tua and take pride and satisfaction that he represents the 808. I’m sure everyone was proud of Mariota when he won the Heisman. Either way my point was these kids and parents make decisions based on what they think is best for them. Stop blaming coaches for recruiting. Happy for all these kids making a name for themselves and the 808 at the next level!! ONE TEAM ONE FIGHT!! Love you all, even the ones that can only see the trees.

@ Lou “his passes flutter, wait for an offer from Navy…” c’mon man what are you smoking? This kid can spin it and incredibly accurate to boot. You find me five QB’s at ANY level, let alone high school, that have a completion rate of 75% with that many attempts. Hell, you find me one, I’m sure I’ll be waiting a while. And nothing against the naval academy but if you are a QB you don’t go to Navy. Congrats Jayden, well deserved. WSU is a great fit and they just got themselves a gem.
