Kamehameha loss close games to Punahou 15-5 and Kahuku 21-13. Go figure.

And again loss to Farrington who loss to Leilehua. So I personally think these teams not in the Open Division may be ranked appropriately. It’s not any knock on these teams or anything, but I think despite divisions this list is accurate for the most part. Go Mules!

Kapolei, Kamehameha, and Farrington in particular have traded wins and losses between each other and have loss against every other Hawaii team. But Leilehua played Farrington to start the season and won 35-0. I know it’s the beginning of the season and Farrington maybe was trying to start their engine, but being blanked by a Division 1 team and getting 35 scored on them says a lot. Moanalua is the only team that beat Leilehua so they are ranked above. Leilehua has a close win against a good Damien team who’s only other loss was to Iolani who both are also on the top ten. Leilehua was the only team of these teams to play an Open Division team this year and they won by a good margin. That’s why this ranking may make sense. I’m not sure about Hilo because you can’t compare them to other great teams they haven’t played, but Hilo is destroying all their teams they have played, so maybe they earn that ranking. We will see because hopefully they can play against D-1 O’ahu teams soon in the playoffs 🤙🏾 Go Mules!

Rankings are a feel good thing and has no affect on how teams would match up against each other.

No point in trying to figure out rankings, all that matters is the last game and who comes out on top.

That’s what the Open division is RIGHT! The best of the best! No matter if they 1-5.

For the mana.
