I wish our top teams would play top teams from the mainland every year.. thats the only way HAWAII gonna get the respect we deserve. Like this years St. Louis team, id say they belong in the top 10 nationally but they will have to blow out Narbonne as CENTENNIAL did last week if they want to get that same respect. Kahuku had that same same chance with BINGHAM but got a tough break having to play without there star quarterback. How come St louis dont play the top CALI teams or even go to Vegas to play Bishop Gorman? Would be a treat to see

I hope the OIA/ILH reconsider this (Each team is only allowed 1 or 2 Pre Season game rule) and make it more flexible for teams. Love seeing Hawaii vs. Mainland game and with that rule it only restricts it. The Season is already short some teams playing only (7-8 games). I believe a lot of teams would love to play more non conference games for per approval of team, parents, school but the OIA/ILH are just set in there old ways.

I think Coach Lee needs to open up talks with De La Salle again… Obviously SLS can travel to CA and DLS is independent now, so they’re not bound to a league schedule anymore.
