If he did he would have set a rushing record that would probably be unbreakable.

St. Louis of old passed almost all game and nobody came close to 100 receptions. Back in 89-90 when Kahuku had Mark Atuaia and he had all those yards. He was still getting carries well into the 4th quarter against teams like Waialua,Kalani and Kalaheo and they were blowing them out.but what happened when he played St. Louis? He had only 30 somewhat yards. Don’t get me wrong. Atuaia was a good running back but he didn’t show anything for it against the best in the state. Same as Sarono!! He did have a touchdown and 12 receptions to add to his total. Anyways good luck to St.Louis and Kahuku.

Not sure how this kid is off the field but he plays with an attitude on the field. Not all kids are humble. Maybe this is just how Sarono plays! Who cares if he’s cocky? Mililani had a cocky reciever in Kalakaua Timoteo and he played the part. All I know is that this kid has over 100 receptions this season. No one ever in the history of high school football in Hawaii has done that. He is at the top. Everybody has their own opinion about who’s the top reciever in the state and that’s fine. I’m just calling it how I see it. Best of luck to all the teams that are still in the playoffs. Kahuku Nation I know you guys thinking yah we will shut down Sarono!! Lol. Kahuku probably will shut down Sarono and that Kapolei offense and most definitely repeat as Champions!! But Good luck to all the teams that are still in it.

100 receptions?? Kapolei played nobody their whole regular season maybe Waianae at best. They pass every down & that is why they have the most yards passing & receiving. Tonight will be the rise of getting June Jones system exposed once again. Kahuku is going to tighten.the screws tonight

He catches alot of balls but drop alot aswell. Breaking team rules tells you a lil about character. Hope he can be more humble on the field and off, good luck to both teams.

It’s their defensive front that will pester Taulia all night and cause him to make sloppy passes.

Didn’t want to single the kid out but looks like somebody already did.lol. Kid got skills and not shy about showing it. Taunting the Punahou crowd, shrugging his shoulders, etc. Good luck this week!

Kid is gonna get introduced to Humble Pie soon. Kahuku secondary must be licking their chops.

Yeah…I try to root for all kids who work hard. This kid, though…tough to root for. I’m more for the humble ballers regardless of what teams they represent. Saw that he received some recognition on ScoringLive. Hurts his team because of breaking team rules when they needed him the most. Not a fan of those types of kids. He talks about how much Taulia has improved. Kind of makes me laugh. Kapolei’s receivers (including this kid) dropped somewhere around a thousand balls this year. Humility is good…

I agree.
The kid gotta tone it down a notch. Animated on everytime he scores or touches the ball. Hope Mr.Hot Shot got enough sack to man up to these physical RR DB’s. They are gonna bang him up. #NoFlyZone
