Kapolei, defense was just potential. It never panned out for them…if you saw the Mililani game…they were sucking air the whole game to keep up. Talent is so nice but coaching didn’t put it together.

The 12 team playoff is ridiculous. Sub .500 teams playing, for what? So the top 4 teams to have a bye, rest up and then beat the winners of the first round. OIA get a clue, make getting into the playoffs mean something.

I love the state playoffs, but really, do they really need the other 4 teams?

Knation – killing me. Bingham’s offense is more “high-powered” than Kapolei’s = defense gave up 17 points (14 from 4th-down trick plays) while being on the field for 75% of the game. If Kapolei scores more than 10 points, I’ll be amazed.

As for their D – we’ll see. Big Red is a lot more balanced on O than they’ve been the last 5-6 years. That’s the only matchup that’ll be interesting.

In the end, it won’t be close…again.

Should just eliminate all the teams with losing records.

Take top 6 and give top 2 the byes. That would make for great OIA playoffs.

All these losing record teams in playoffs is ridiculous.

ILH – see Awrite’s post…add to that all the yardage they gave up to an AVERAGE Kam offense. Ya killing me smalls… Puns gonna light ’em up this week. Big Red has best D in state…not even debatable.

ILH that is debatable, they gave up 7pts to Waianae and 50pts to #75 ranked Narbornne.

Kahuku shutout Waianae (0pts) and only gave up 17pts to #15 ranked Bingham.

Kapolei has a high chance of beating kahuku. They have the defense that can shut out kahuku and a offense that always been consistent moving the ball. Kapolei is a far better team than farrington and leilehua evendo they lost to them that’s why people shouldn’t over look kapolei. There dline is the best in the state and will be a problem for kahuku.
