Watch what a squad of 27 players do to Iolani this Friday, which your Hilo defense gave up 35 points, No Team ever won any Championship without a great defense. This ranking has no effect on teams whatsoever. You guys can complain and complain all you want but the bottom line is no matter what their ranking are, they play the schedule and divisions they’re in. What I’m hearing is the State of Hawaii should only have five teams and the rest shouldn’t even play… sounds pretty idiotic to me. But considering what I’m reading in these posts, its written by idiots anyway. OKWHATEVA is an appropriate response.

Hilo and their top RB are indeed very impressive but look at their competition. There is no way that they or Lahainaluna belong in the top ten. If this is about STATS then let them pile it on, but i don’t think that the Hilo RB would even be close to what he has rushed for if they played the big boys. So how can a so called D1 or even a D2 be in this mix. Lets not take away these teams effort and hard play but this system has to change. to put these teams and even these players and compare them to the OPEN is truly ridiculous. We need change and if you are going to put these teams in the mix then they should play those that are in it.

Chew on this Getoutahhea, Damien has been ILH Division 2 Champs ’15 & ’16 beating a more talented Saint Francis team who in the past 2 seasons has been in tri-scrimmages with Kailua and dominated them. Hilo HS who is a Division I school doesn’t have 2 way players like the 35 players Damien has, so yeah Damien would be able to beat Hilo, it doesn’t matter if you scored 60 on Iolani who has 7 lineman and 4 who goes both ways, they aren’t anything like Damien, who you just might meet up with in DI States playoffs if they do make it and Damien gets past Saint Francis!

Always nice to read ignorant posts. Waialua lost to Waiakea you idiot, and Waiakea lost to HPA, who lost to Hilo by 60+. Hilo put up 62 on Iolani, Damien scored 35 on Iolani and barely beat Kealakehe.

Any Teams that gets goose egged shouldn’t be at any top 10 list. Who’s the judges of these polls and where’s Damien who propably can beat #10, #8, #6, and #5! I take it back, they can beat! Hilo? They playing all outer Island teams, there’s no strength in their competition! Waialua can beat all those outer Island teams! I hate Damien, but I hate wrong polls more!
