@PlayaHatersAnonymous, Don’t bother arguing with Education First. She is just trying to start an argument. That is what she does. She doesn’t even use her name too. LOL

She has no facts about what happened at Kaiser and is ignorant about what goes on with Football or any other sport.

What Coach M. did wrong and what he did; no other Coach or school did or would ever do. Would be too long to explain, but some other people in past comments listed just a fraction of what he did wrong; including lying to the kids.

Why do you think that towards the end; even the jv parents and boys were not on his side.

I already confirmed that with numerous Varsity coaches from other schools that what he did was WRONG!

Why do you think that coaches that were with him at Moanalua no longer want to coach with him. A few of them told me that he never adapted to Hawaii’s culture and can’t relate to the people. I hope he can change for his sake.

When your coaching staff does not have enough for have a separate jv staff; something is not right. No other school has this problem. Hello!

As for the fundraising, he would NOT disclose about what happened to all the money that was raised last year. There was a lot of money too.

The answer is NO, and Mililani, Campbell, and Lahainaluna HC doesn’t do this unsuccessful type of Coaching and that’s why he is no longer there! Please show me where in the contact it stipulates that? If you look at the OIA coach’s contract is doesn’t even discuss fundraising. And if something was wrong, then why did his boss (the AD) approve the sale of the new equipment then ok him giving it to the JV kids?

And comparing Kahuku, a team with 50-80 kids at times to a team with 18 or less is just ignorant. Are you that ignorant or are you playing with us?

He’s not there since he got death threats. It’s not like he did something wrong and his boss fired or removed him. You really are stupid. No wonder you sit behind your name.

If you have workouts in the off-season and hardly any varsity players come out, then that shows lack of interest in the varsity program from the school and its community. When you want to fundraise for the varsity and there is minimal interest by the varsity, then what should you do?

The JV kids were more invested, therefore they were able to fundraise and get the new equipment. If the varsity kids wanted more attention or gear, maybe more of them should have gotten out there. But, alas, they didn’t.

It’s clear he is investing in the future. Last time I checked, that isn’t a crime. And when you get a program to run which I think is highly doubtful, you can run it however you want. I am not sure if any school would hire a coach named PlayaHatersAnonymous. It’s clear that you are either one of the lazy wanna be varsity kids who didn’t come out. You are taught to blame others instead of being accountable. Or you are a parent who teachers their child to whine and not be accountable.

He resigned due to death threats. You would never receive a death threat since you hide behind a fake name. At least he has the courage to coach and give his time to coach kids and use his real name.

You are correct. But so many teams across the state take a knee and pray after the game is over. I have to bet not all of the kids are religious but they just do it to be respectful. I don’t see any other parents getting nuts and threatening to hurt the coach.

PlayaHatersAnonymous does you kid even play is your kid any good?? Was your kid the one that couldn’t take a picture with a team that he quit. The player quit making him no longer apart of the team. God and football have been paired together for a long time. Teams pray b4 games no matter the religion. The building of a program starts with the new players so working with the JV is a good thing. The older players have their old ways that may not change in time to play games. The Varsity did not have enough guys to put together a team. A school cannot have a JV team unless it has a varsity team. Martinez took programs like moanalua a basketball/volleyball school to the playoffs. No one deserves this kind of harassment

The only time Kaiser was ever good was when rich Miano recruited more than the ILH. It’s too bad Kaiser will never have a team anywhere near Kahuku’s worst team. The best you can hope for as a coach in that program is a man of character who can teach the boys that there’s a right way to live life, and that’s through a life of god.

Playahatersanonymous, I ask you this honestly, brother. Why do you hate God so much? I will pray for you. Just rest assured that Coach Martinez is praying for you as well.
