On offense #33 (Tehada) a hungry sophomore with smarts, speed and power and #24 (Ragudo) a senior vet with vision, quickness, speed, agility and power (very strong for his size) and that offensive line of theirs is making another run for that title! Let me advise you, they are not the only running backs that does damage on that team. Defense, they are great! We can total up 400 yards on them, but just score an average of 14. Coaching staff, they are great! Very technical. Best of luck to the Lahainaluna football team and community for your second appearance on a state championship!

What a treat of Hawaii High School football lastnight! These D2 teams are pretty good. I finally seen a neighbor island team play this year and I am impressed with Lahainaluna. They were unbelievable in the first half, maybe got too comfortable with the lead going into the second half? well, it doesn’t matter they sustained the lead and the win and that showed me why they are the king in D2. Best run game I seen from a highschool team. Lots of confusion and misdirection that we don’t see much of out here. It’s unfortunate that not too many players out of Oahu gets attention but they have a special player there. That kid that ran the 60 yard TD, his vision and speed is extraordinary! That run was the play of the game. Congratulations Lahainaluna!! we’ll see you at Aloha Stadium!
