Nevada has good football. Liberty just doesn’t have anyone that competes with them in their division besides Coronado. They lost last year to Canyon Springs which was a big upset. They are content with winning these Sunrise championships. I believe Coronado will beat them this year. When you have a coach that has favorites and just concentrates on them, there really isn’t a FAMILY feeling anymore at Liberty for a couple years now. And as far as what (JIM) said that’s not true because they have an open enrollment policy at liberty to attract other students from other areas of Las Vegas but they can’t seem to attract anyone as of late because of Muraco’s Favortism!

Nevada doesn’t really have a great football as far as public schools go. Liberty has made to semi-finals because of that reason in my opinion. Not sure if they are good enough at this point to match against Mililani next week.

Perhaps it has to do with Bishop Gormans (a private school) ability to recruit and scholarship the best players no matter what school they are zoned for meanwhile schools like Liberty must build their teams from the students that are zoned for their school. BGHS sucks up a lot of the talent.

Yea they should save face next week.. but maybe the offensive be better then today ?

Cant suspect Nevada football, their first game of season. I guess we will see next week when they play mililani

All the write up on how Liberty consistently makes it to the semi’s or finals of their region makes me wonder if Nevada football really is not that great.

In reading about these two teams one being ranked in the top 50 and the other near 500 I can only say that I’d hoped that Liberty might get a bit of luck and make it a game. You don’t get better by playing pushovers though do you? Good luck Liberty!
