Great guy. Its sad though that the waialua varsity football turn out year in and year out are very small. I give coach barit credit for working with what just he has year in year out. And the truth is , if your an athlete and excels at football, you probably will transfer out , and thats the nature of it. Ive seen a handfull of athletes that are from waialua but chose to play football elsewhere because of exposure.

Coach Barit you are an awesome role model for the kids of Waialua you did teach us all about respect and if you want to succeed you gotta work hard and put the time in. I remember lifting at the Rex center in 7th 8 grade to get stronger and you was always there lifting and giving us pointers. You, Uncle Homer, Uncle Bruce, Coach Watanabe was the best role models for us kids. We were truly fortunate to have you guys there for us! Thanks for all you help and Congrats on your retirement!
