I think Kahuku can forgive the poll ranks, but like last year’s State Champs who also went undefeated, it would be a shame if Kahuku didn’t walk away with DPOY and OPOV. Kesi Ah Hoy lead this team to an undefeated season. By the way the State High school championship game garnered a little article in the Sunday printed paper with the smallest picture in State HS history! Really? The UH game, where the attendance was half of Friday’s game was filled.with a whole page of blow out pictures. Cmon man.

While Tata graciously asks for the hometown kids to stay and attend Kahuku, we, as a Kahuku community look forward to many many years of his leadership and return the same sentiments…please stay.

ESPN2 Timeless had a documentary on Kahuku Football back in 2006. Nothings change as far as community support doing the Tomahawk chop to the Haka.
