Saw this kid play when he was on Pun JV. This kid was a natural Offensive Tackle and very sound technically. Thought it was a mistake to place him on the other side of the ball. Anyways, all the luck to him, he’s a great athlete.

Winning brings in the talent and it also keeps the talent, St. Louis back in the drivers seat so some PUN parents looking for better opportunities, another Kahuku kid also returning from PUN. If i can recall both older Kaumatule Brothers made it to the state title game so maybe there is no faith in what direction the PUNs are going, I mean losing to Kapolei had to be devastating. Good luck Falcon and tear it up in vegas.

In other news Kahuku will play Utahs Big top dog, Bingham Miners! I like how Coach Tata is setting up these big games, will only make Kahukus program stronger. Who St. Louis got lined up for next year? Gorman?

Nothing different from transferring to any school. People are always looking for opportunities and families move to Nevada in masses so a kid should not be that big of a deal. Falcon already has D 1 offers and would have plenty more if he stayed, so it might be a family moving thing or maybe he wants to play for a different DC?

No negative to this at all. Don’t see the downside you haters are all talking about. If a kid is offered something worth more than where he is currently at, why not take it? BG’s tuition is more than Puns, their facilities are similarly superior. Okay, so he has to live in a ugly state for the next 2 1/2 years, well guess what he not going go UH, so he just preparing for the next ugly state he going be living in for the following 4 years while he’s in college. Shouldn’t we be celebrating the opportunities soon to be offered to this young man.

I agree, if true this is ridiculous. There is No better education then Punahou, it got his brothers to Standford and Oregon. Former UH linebacker Chris Brown is BG D-Coodinator, he has to be lead recruiter for Hawaii kids.Oh well it’s the parents decisions anyway.
