Aannnyywayys, you proved my point! They play with what they have and the receivers werent doin well that night. I wouldnt call them butterfingers yet, maybe they just had an off night. Like rrE-5 said even sarono had a dropped td, even happens to the best.

Mililani’s secondary just couldn’t cover the Kapolei WRs, and the front seven was giving Taulia too much time in the pocket.

There wasn’t any particular “butterfinger” WR last night. The receiving corps as a whole dropped a lot of passes for Kapolei. Even the Sarono kid dropped a sure TD. I noticed Tagovailoa was putting some serious heat on his passes though, and he high-marked a couple balls too.

Oia#1 – Instead of blaming the receiver for dropping the ball how about blaming the QB for throwing it to the butterfinger WR, or the coach for letting the butterfinger WR play? You play with what you got and leave it all on the field. Cause the same could be said about a running game where blockers are missing blocks but you never hear people talk about the “coulda,woulda,shoulda” of missed blocks.

So what does the HHSAA (who are run by the ILH) do now that Mililani (which was supposed to be a big dog) gets crushed by Kapolei (who supposed to be a medium dog). Which one of these two are going to the Open tourney?

oh…wait it doesnt matter, they just wanted to get PUN and STL into the tourney, everything else is irrelevant and a smoke screen.

Kapolei looked pretty good defensively as well last night! They’ll be even tougher when Rocky and Tyler returns! I think Mililani will regroup, and I can see Dillon coming into his own prior to the playoffs! Great season to you all!
