Here’s the thing folks. #2 and 3, St.Louis and Punahou is a lock for Open States. #1 Kahuku, 4 Kapolei and 5 Waianae could be eliminated in the 12 team OIA playoffs. If there are upsets, basically the Best Teams in the State will not play. The OIA needs to eliminate this tourney and make the Best OIA 4 teams play in a modified tourney. The HHSAA threw a wrench in this whole thing. Will HHSAA allow a Kahuku,Waianae,or Kapolei play in the D1 States? No. Then those teams that defered from OPEN will want to go to D2 status.

Wow, so beating Waianae helps raise Kapolei’s stock but not Campbell after 2 really good wins in a row? And unranked Kailua’s win over Mililani means nothing but 1 spot down. . .
