Leaving Univ.of Washington for UH is absolutely crazy, too! Absolutely, things happen in life.
It’s not the university or their reputation. The bottom line is the person and what they become after they graduate from college, if they are good citizens, become successful in their job and family, and help their communities. My 3 children and wife all graduates from the University of Hawaii. I went to UH for summer school and finished on the mainland. UH is a very good school. It’s what you make of it that counts.

Agree with Derek. Thought I heard that too. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Noa has that break away speed that UH needs, good hands too. Hopefully they get a QB that can get these two guys the ball.

Did we hear about a month or so ago that a certain California receiver wanted to possibly transfer to Hawaii but the coach did not want to give him a release. I’m thinking it might be Kanawai Noa, but can’t say for sure. They never said the player’s name because of NCAA requirements. Anyway, just speculation.

Good for him. Need more Hawaiians playing for UH. His faddah was a former UH and St Louis great. His older brother Kanawai played as a trrue freshman at Cal last year.

Yes! Imo, the best WR in the state is staying home! People don’t know, but this kid is electric with the ball in his hands. A true gamebreaker. He and Kala will complement each other nicely.
