So much talent left to go public schools. But the football program does not wag the school. With St.Louis and Punahou, the football program wags those teams. Too bad. The last coach that took Kamehameha to the Koa was Coach Stant from Kahuku.

Play Kahuku every season and put your money where your mouth is. Its so easy to play patty cake with each other and say how good you you are versus the OIA schools but to be the best, you have to play the best. And for now, that road runs through the north shore. And thats also why we need to play teams like Bishop Gorman to get better because it won’t happen in the divisions here.
I personally don’t care if the three ill teams are in the playoffs, the sweeter the victory when the Koa Trophy will be raised. Then all the ILH naysayers and fortune tellers can shut up about how great it is to have the money, facilities and the trophies. Just enjoy winning the other sports because second place is where you all will be in football and you can take that to the bank.
Happy playoffs and we will see you both Puns and Kalaepohaku) next month. Get ready to get whacked cause we are coming with a full head of steam. GO BIG RED!

The naming, the of the brackets, the declaring of division, the whole thing is a patched up mess.

Then to top it all off, the winner of the d1 will be listed right next to previous D1 winners.

If they were to play Kapolei, Mililani, Leilehua, Maui, and Farrington. They would guarantee be ranked fifth. Some players were even voted number one in the state or top ten in the nation. I believe if ranking went by score they shouldn’t be in top ten, but if rankings went by stats then Kamehameha should definitely be ranked high than Bladwin and Mililani.

The ILH could possibly sweep the Open division with a 1,2,3 finish.
